Lion’s Mouth Live at Trip Santa Monica

Hello all! We are excited to announce that Lion’s Mouth will be rocking out at Trip Santa Monica on October 11th. That just so happens to be National Coming Out Day, so we have several gay treats in store for you all! Lion’s Mouth Roars Again!

Greetings! We recently played a really fun show at Skinny’s Lounge in North Hollywood. We had been hiding in our garage and recording our album for so many months that we almost forgot how to interact with other people. Fortunately, we shook off the awkward and played a great show! We prepared for the show by eating an entire box of waffles (5 waffles per Lion’s Mouth band member). Carbs are very important for an energetic performance. It was very exhilarating to play for our friends and fans. We also got to meet some great people and very talented musicians. Recording!

Ahoy! It’s been an action-packed past couple months for Lion’s Mouth. Chelsea and I have been working hard on recording our second album. We’re doing the recording ourselves in our dimly lit, cobweb infested garage. The ambiance is so unpleasant that it makes us work very quickly and efficiently. The drums and acoustic guitar are done, and now all that’s left is electric guitar, bass, vocals, and violin… and maybe a recorder. You know, just in case we decide we want the album to sound like crap. Well, I must go now so I can get back to scowling at Chelsea every time she hits a wrong note on her electric guitar.
